Vojko V (aka Vojko Vrucina) is a rapper and musical producer from Split, previously known for his work in Dječaci and Kiša Metaka. In 2018, he decided to return to his solo career, and had a record-breaking success the same year. Vojko V sold out the Small arena at Dom Sportova as a part of the Zagreb promotion of his debut album, “Vojko”.
The fact that his first single “Zovi covika” has more than 3 million views on YouTube, shows that his solo comeback was a great decision. According to Croatian media, his career literally exploded and in less than a year, Vojko V became one of the most sold out artists in the region.
After his success with “Zovi covika” in January last year, he “broke the internet” with his collaboration with Tonči Huljić and the release of “Pasta Italiana”. Before the concert at the House of Sports, he released the video for “Kako to”, that made him the biggest rap star in the region.
He is now nominated for Album of the Year and Song of the Year, among four other awards at the Porin Discography Awards. In 2018, his concerts were completely sold out in Croatia, and he also performed at the Sea Dance Festival in Montenegro.
